The Story

For 2017 and 2018, we helped A Door of Hope shift their marketing strategy to focus their attention on partnering with churches in the Tampa Bay area to put an end to the problem of foster care in the area.  We narrowed the barriers down to:

  • Little to no awareness of the need for foster care and how the system works
  • Lack of understanding of how foster care is funded within Florida, especially for private agencies
  • A false sense that the problem of foster care was insurmountable to reduce or even eradicate

The journey began with contacting local pastors who would be able to not only be spokespersons for A Door of Hope but to also be the bridge to those in their congregation who could benefit from learning more and getting involved.
